Using a laser will guarantee that each part will be identical to the part that was previously cut. The tolerances on a laser are also very tight meaning that they will be in spec 100% of the time. Being that a laser will save time that savings can be transferred to the customer. Different feed rates can also apply depending on what materials are used and the thickness of such materials.

One thing nice about a laser it can leave a very attractive edge on the finished product. If its acrylic a laser will leave a mirrored edge on the finished part. Different types and colors are easily cut and finished with a laser. The engraving capabilities of a laser are a very attractive way of getting just about anything on certain substrates.
