Lasers have become a popular tool in my industry. The plus side to using a laser is you really do not have to vacuum the part down unlike a cnc router. It gives you a finished attractive polished edge. Repeatable parts just like a cnc. The one draw back is if you have to solvent bond an edge of the part the polishing does need to be taken off.
